Every card shows the answer in the question Tab

Hi,
I´ve tried to change something in my Anki settings and now every card where it should just shows the answer on the question side. I´ve tried to fix this by reading the help website or watch youtube videos but I can´t find anything.

Please help me, I have an exam in 4 days and can´t learn like this.

You’re missing a field replacement. Put {{Rückseite}} in your back template (at the end).

Hi,
I fixed it yesterday and it worked, today I have a similar problem, when I try to fix it, it shows this notification:

The notification states this: “Card template 2 of note type ‘Simple’ has a problem.
The front is identical to card template 1.”

(Also my “simple” cards are doubled with one showing everything on the question side and one identical thats working how it should be (wth?))

What should I do now?

Edit: if you need the card type, do the following, otherwise follow jhhr’s advice.

In the second card type, put this:

You must’ve created a second card type by accident.

At the top of the screen there’s the dropdown which is what you use to change which card type is being edited. In your screenshot, you have Card 2 selected.

At the top right, there’s the Options menu that includes an Add Card Type… button. You probably pressed that earlier when your Card 1 was still broken and made a duplicate.

In the same menu is the option to Remove Card Type. Use that to remove Card 2 which is displaying your fields wrong.

I did exactly this and it not only removed the second card type, but removed every card that had the note type “simple”

When I click on card management the cars are still there, but they wont get diplayed when I open it to learn

Where are they not displayed? In your deck or in the preview (the preview in card browser)?

In the overview and when I open the deck to learn, only like 19 cards are shown, when I view the card browser all my cards are still there (90 cards)

When are those cards due? You can see that in the card browser.

And what is your new card and review limit? You can see that in the deck options.
