Error with very fist card created

Hi folks,

I just created my very first deck and two cards. When I input my answer text and want to check the answer I get this error:

If it’s your first card created. That means you’ve just installed Anki, right?. But why is the version you’re using too old?
Try installing the latest one and try again.

It’s probably a package installed via OP’s package manager. @lernomat the packaged versions are often very dated, so you should always install Anki manually on Linux by following these instructions: Install & Upgrade - Anki Manual
