I said yes to updating Anki and its not letting me opening it and this error is coming up, whats my issue here?

I suggest that you try the Anki 26.05 Beta 1 version being tested right now. It uses a different installer that doesn’t need to download other files. Using the Beta version might be the quickest way to resolve the issue.
Otherwise, if you would like to troubleshoot the issue, it might take more time and effort.
It seems that the Anki installer is having trouble trying to download and install files on your computer. Specifically, the symptom appears to be that the the security certificates currently installed on your computer are invalid or out-of-date.
What version of macOS is installed on your computer? Is it an older version? If so, you might want to try updating the OS to see if that also updates the certificates and fixes the issue.
Please describe your internet connection. Is there anything about it that might be different than what most people have? For example, do you use any sort of VPN, firewall, iCloud Private Relay, or proxy? Do you live in a region known to have internet issues, for example regions in or near Russia, China, or Spain?
I previously tried to help someone work around the issue by having them try some manual commands from the Terminal app. If you would like to continue this line of troubleshooting, please let me know.
