Error: Failed to run (1): C:\Users\thelw\AppData\Local\Programs\Anki\uv.exe sync --upgrade --no-config --managed-python --python 3.13.5

I have installed Anki 26.5 on an HP laptop running Windows 11 Pro version 25H2. When the terminal window appears and I chose the latest version, I get the following errors. Does this mean I need to re-install Python? I’m not computer-illiterate but it’s been awhile since I fiddled around on the command line.

No solution found when resolving dependencies for split (python_full_version == ‘3.9.*’):
` → Because the requested Python version (>=3.9) does not satisfy Python>=3.10 and anki==26.5 depends on
Python>=3.10, we can conclude that anki==26.5 cannot be used.
And because your project depends on anki==26.5, we can conclude that your project’s requirements are
unsatisfiable.

  hint: The `requires-python` value (>=3.9) includes Python versions that are not supported by your dependencies
  (e.g., anki==26.5 only supports >=3.10). Consider using a more restrictive `requires-python` value (like
  >=3.10).

  hint: While the active Python version is 3.13, the resolution failed for other Python versions supported by your
  project. Consider limiting your project's supported Python versions using `requires-python`.
