Erroneous "Duplicates" Warning?

For my card type, the sort field is the third field, “Country Name”. The first field, “svg_fild_name”, is expected to be duplicated among several cards, but Anki is warning me that it is duplicated. I thought that the warning was for duplicated sort fields. Am I mistaken, or is this a bug?

(I’m not sure whether this is an intentional feature or an overlooked bug, so posting under the suggestion category.) Each note has one field marked as Sort Field. I think of it as a key element and face of each note. Its value is displayed in a Browser’s list of cards and very often it’s the first field of a note. That’s very unfortunate for language learning where you might naturally have a gender field as the first field.

If the notetype is intended for learning the gender of a given word, I would make the word field the first instead.
