I use subs2srs to cut movies into flashcards and learn the language. The problem is
that the webm video format is supported on PC, but not supported on iOS
And mp4 is supported on iOS, but opens in a separate window on PC (I use Windows 11)
It’s quite inconvenient. Therefore, there is the following question.
Is it possible to embed mp4 directly into a anki card on a pc so that the player does not open in a separate window and is this planned in the future?
Currently, the only officially supported way is the pop-up window. The graphics toolkit the desktop version uses only supports a limited number of video formats, so we use an external player.
