How would making a copy of a challenging card affect Retention and Retrievability? Would copying the card be a good alternative to having more learning steps?

I have thought about this situation before and I think all you will end up doing is reviewing the same info (on different cards) on some pretty illogical intervals. It would help probably if only the intervals aren’t very close to each other but imo don’t do that.

I have thought about this instead of adding up more learning steps which would apply for the all of the other cards whereas this just applies to select few cards 
Hmm… so the question is how do we handle those cards which are particularly difficult. You can expirment with that and maybe let the rest of us know the results.
