Hello, I recently faced this problem: I can not disable HTML editor, when I want to edit the back of my card. You can see this issue in the screenshot. The “Use HTML editor by default” is turned off, however HTML editor is still here, this thing is really annoying for me, I want to edit card using regular card editor. I found out interesting thing, that the HTML editor opens only in some cards, not all cards are affected by this. By the way I have another deck and in this deck it’s totally fine, there is no HTML editor, but it is only in my German deck. Please help me.
I use the latest version of linux mint and I downloaded the app from flatpak software manager.
In your screenshot, “Use HTML editor by default” is turned off for the “Front” field. Is it turned off for the “Back” field too?
Whether it’s on or off by default, you can switch in and out of it with the button just above the field – <> or the letters icon.
It is set field-by-field for each note type.
