Directly turn pictures and filenames into cards?

Dear all,

I would like to know if it is possible to add a lot of jpeg files (or any picture files) to a new deck, with the pictures automatically used as Question, and the filenames automatiquely used as Answer…
That would be SO useful, instead of needing to enter every picture one by one…

Anki is so cool, so I don’t understand why this is not possible… !!

This add-ons Media Import - AnkiWeb does what you are looking for. I am not sure if still works with current versions. Last update was in 2018.
