I genuinely am completely flummoxed on how to title this post so I won’t worry about it.
I have every Monday on FSRS set to an easy day, but since today is labor day the reason that I have it set to easy days doesn’t apply today. If I want to (I don’t actually know if I want to yet) be able to temporarily, just for this Monday, have that Monday stop being an easy day, just this once, how should I go about that? Turn it off, and then use the FSRS helper add-on’s ability to immediately apply easy days? And then turn it back on once I’m done? Use the Advance feature?
This should work. Let FSRS give you a quantity of cards that it will be productive to study today. They won’t all be pulled from the same day, so it will reduce your workload for the next few/several days – sort-of-reversing the effect of this being set an easy-day.
Stay within the “relatively safe” limit the feature gives you, and don’t grab too many cards. They will actually have their due dates rescheduled to today, so if you pull them and then don’t study them, you’ll have a backlog.
