Database Error on iMac but not on MacBook

Hello there,
I have downloaded Anki version 2.1.32 compatible with my Mac (OS version 10.11.6) and once checked the database I have got this message:

"Anki 2.1.32 (dee7d45d) Python 3.8.1 Qt 5.9.7 PyQt 5.13.2

I have reinstalled Anki (same version), restarted the machine but still I got the same message.

The weird thing is I have checked the database on Anki (version 2.1.31) on my Macbook (OS 10.12.6) after I did the above and when I have checked the database there was no issue.

Any advise how to deal with this issue?

Looking forward to hearing from you

Regards,
Franco

I grabbed your AnkiWeb collection and used Check Database in the latest Anki version without error. Please force a full sync, download onto the device running .32, and then try Check Database again - does the issue go away?

Hi Dae, thanks for your answer. I did what you advised but it does not work. Still the same issue. Honestly I give it up. Cheers, Franco

That is strange, since I can not reproduce the problem here. Are you sure you went into the preferences on the problem device, checked the ‘on next sync, force changes’ option, then clicked on sync and chose “download”?

Great Damien,
it works! Thank you for your help.
Cheers,
Franco
