Why is my total daily limit (all of my new cards today) greater than my daily limit of 75??
56<75
29<75
It is also a useful link that was removed from the manual for some reason.
Daily limits
Because the limit is deck-specific.
If you have 10 decks, with a max of 50 new cards each, you are going to potentially do 500 new cards per day.
Thank you, that does make sense. But why isn’t the amount of cards under “new” 75? I don’t understand why I set the limit to 75 but only 56 cards are available. Same goes for the second deck.
The 75 dictates how many new cards you can have, as a maximum. That doesn’t mean you will see that many
For example: if your max is set to 75 new cards per day but you only have 40 cards to learn then you will only see 40 new cards that day. How many actual new cards you end up having for review depends on how many cards are present, and available, for study
In this case, you’re using the Anking MCAT deck. So either a bunch of those cards are suspended, and/or the subdecks have different settings and are acting as a choke point for the parent deck (or both), preventing there from being 75 new cards available for study.
In addition to natural limits based on how many cards are available (not suspended) – it looks like you’ve in the middle of your study day. Were any of the cards you’ve already studied today New cards?
