Creating deck with chinese pronunciation and decomposing according to a rolemodel

Hello everyone,

I want to find or to create a deck to learn the vocubulary of The New Practical Chinese Reader. This is a book form chinese language school.
I am currently with book 3 and lesson 27. There are decks existing but I am missing pronunciation and decomposing like [NPCR (Books 1 – 5) - AnkiWeb] or [New Practical Chinese Reader words - Books 1 to 5 - AnkiWeb].
This deck here is doing that perfectly for book 1 and 2: [New Practical Chinese Reader 1 & 2 - AnkiWeb]
But it is not available for book 3. Is there any chance to find out the source of the decomposing where I can easily find the decomposing and maybe even the pronunciation. It might be possible to use forvo[dot]com for pronunciation.

Can you help me?

Thanks!

I don’t know what you mean by “decomposing.” For pronunciation, I’d use the AwesomeTTS addon. Forvo tends to not have audio for many words.

If you cannot find the deck with an Internet search, you could try asking on the Anki sub-reddit but such a niche deck likely doesn’t exist.

Thank you for your recommendation! AwesomeTTS looks like it does not work with the new anki version.

Decomposing is a chinese thing. Every chinese caracter bases on other characters by example:

  • 药 [yào]: drugs, medicine; the leaf of the Dahurian angelica plant
    • 艹 [cǎo]: grass, weed, plant, herb
    • 约 [yuē]: treaty, covenant, agreement
      • 纟 [sī]: silk; thread
        • 一 [yī]: one; a, an; alone
      • 勺 [sháo]: spoon, ladle; unit of volume
        • 勹 [bāo]: wrap
          • 丿 [piě]: slash
        • 丶 [diǎn]: dot

I’d be surprised if AwesomeTTS is no longer compatible. But regardless, I’d recommend its sequel/cousin HyperTTS instead.
