Can someone please help explain how to transfer my Anki download from an old computer to a new laptop? The old one is broken.
If you had created an account and synced in your previous old computer, then by signing in your new laptop it should prompt to download the deck you had used before
Otherwise, using backups
You can copy your entire Anki2 data folder from your old computer to your new computer – Managing Files - Anki Manual. It’s best if you install the same version of Anki you were using before. Then after you’re up and running, you can check add-on compatibility and upgrade to a newer version if you like.
