I have looked at other forums and have tried their solutions but nothing has worked. I have tried to change the codes on the front and back.

Currently the default codes are:
Front template
{{cloze:Text}}

Back template:
{{cloze:Text}}

{{Back Extra}}

Someone please help!

Perhaps you have a cloze deletion (eg {{c1:…}}) inside Back Extra instead of Text.

If it’s a few cards, you can copy and paste the clozes into the first field. If you put the clozes in the wrong field for all your cards, you can use the ‘change notetype’ action to switch the contents of the two fields.
