Cloze cards using apple pencil

Hi, I’ve searched online and in the forum and cannot find whether there is a way to create cloze cards with an apple pencil in an iPad Pro. I find it easier to learn if I hand write, and would ideally write cloze cards with the pencil.

Is there a way to select the words you want to be cloze1, cloze2, etc.?

There is support for attaching hand-draw images to cards, but it’s not possible to occlude/hide parts of them I’m afraid.
