Card became blank after clicking "Show Answer". Bottom bar did show "Again, Hard, Good, Easy" pop up

I’m not sure if all the card has the same template. I hope the card I selected is the good representation of the problematic card.

You also need to enable a shared link access to that file

sorry, that was from my school email. All outside access are restricted. Please try this one out.

The backside rendered fine for me:

But only after a significant delay the first time I opened it. I would assume it’s either waiting for some data to finish loading from the internet (there are quite a few online references in the source code) or the card itself is heavy enough for the rendering to take noticeable time.

Can you share how the same card looks for you when you scroll down so that we can identify which parts are missing there at the top?
Other things I can think of to try for now:

  1. Just wait a minute or two after the card is opened or flipped. Maybe the rest will appear by itself
  2. Check internet connection (or try a different network, if possible). Maybe some resources are getting blocked by it

Also, the front side outputs some red exclamation marks along with a bunch of console warnings in about 10 seconds after it loads:

I’m not sure what that is supposed to mean.

So these are the front and back of the card. Seems like even thought it’s the same card that had problem previous, the problem don’t stay on the same card. As I’m testing it now, the back just pop right out instantly like normal cards. However, I would say it fluctuate between different cards. Some card pop the back instantly, some might need to wait like 10 second, but some just don’t show at all until I scroll down (which I just notice today). I don’t think it’s the network issues since many of my colleges are using the same WIFI as me and they never heard of such issues. Also, I did study in different location with different WIFI but still experience the same problem. I think that 10 sec timer was just a build in timer for us to answer the card within 10 sec time frame so we can grade the difficulty of the card and how long for us to recall the knowledge.

It’s probably just cashing. The cards that are loaded instantly are likely the ones you’ve already seen in this session (or are reusing the content from the previously viewed cards). If you close Anki and reopen it, I assume the same cards will start requiring the loading times again.

I don’t see nearly as much of a scrolling space in your last screenshot as there was in the original post, though. Is it a different card? Or does the height change when you are trying to scroll?

Sorry for the confusion. It’s a different card. I don’t remember which card was the original screenshot was as I going through a bunch of them. I just found another card that behaved the same as I was testing it.
