I had to get a new computer and now Anki won’t open. It doesn’t give me an error message or any indication that it is trying to load the app. I’ve tried redownloading many times, I’ve tried opening from Terminal using a command from a similar post (it gave me an error of directory not found), and I’ve tried holding shift while opening the app. Nothing has worked, and I’m out of ideas.
The steps from another post finally worked. Right click on the app in Finder – get info–> open with Rosetta, install Rosetta, and then it should finally open.
