Can't open Anki 25.09 on windows 10+

Hi ! Ive been trying to open the new anki 25.09 and I can’t seem to open the app after downloading it. A window pops open and then automatically closes, without anything else happening. How can I fix this ?

Starting with Anki 25.07, there’s a 2-step launcher/installer process. The thing you downloaded and installed is the launcher, which then runs to install the app.

So have you made it past the launcher step – this screen?

– Or is that the window that is popping open?
