Browser randomly shows notes as deleted - has always resolved itself so far

Hello everyone,

my Anki has recently started to show random swaths of notes as ‘deleted’ in the browser - only for the issue to resolve after a restart.

Is this a known problem? So far it has only been a minor inconvenience, but I’m wary the problem might cause some data loss in the future. I know if it happens I could always revert to a prior backup, but it’s not ideal either way.

I’ve pasted the debug info below - AFAIK I’m not running any add-ons that affect the browser window.

Thanks!

Could you try to disable all your add-ons and see if you are able to reproduce the issue. Even though your add-ons and not supposed to affect the browser window, it doesn’t mean they don’t; and even if they didn’t, they might still be able to affect your collection in a way that could cause this behavior.

Also, newer Anki versions might tell you what the problem is, instead of just saying ‘deleted’.
