A card cannot be suspended and buried at the same time – Studying - Anki Manual . But since Bury is a temporary action, and Suspend is more permanent – Suspend will take precedence.
- Suspended cards will not be automatically buried.
- If you Toggle Bury on a card that is already suspended, nothing will happen.
- If you Toggle Suspend on a card that is already buried, it will be suspended.
Suspend and Bury are both applied at the card level, so if you’re in Notes mode, you won’t see the color for either of them – Browsing - Anki Manual . But if you click a Cards action in Notes mode, it will generally be applied to all of the cards for that note.
