Automatically surround GUID in quotes when exporting

I had this issue and did not notice it for months:

Import ignores Anki GUIDs starting with #

The anki GUID (generated by Anki) as a key may start with a #, causing entire line to be ignored, and making that it is not possible to update these datas afterwards. I have put one of the problematic ID (#G,wL%Sbs) in the following block: #separator:tab #html:false #guid column:1 pLRz}q{^*= 1469 B2+ Aby/bm;,eN 1470 B1 #G,wL%Sbs 1481 A1 uhtKE3zS$g 1482 B2+ E=+6YAI5DK 1490 B1

And I think since it can go unnoticed that some notes are being skipped, it could be an idea to consider automatically adding the quotes when exporting as plain text with GUID.

Which version(s) are you importing and exporting from? Recent versions should correctly quote fields containing a #. Tried it with 25.02 and it does quote them, guid field as well

My bad, I was importing an older file. But I see when exporting now, the quotes are added to all guids containing “#” (also when it’s not the leading character). Thanks
