Hi everyone,
I am struggling to get Auto Advance to work on my AnkiDroid.
I have ensured that the auto advance deck settings are set, which work fine on the desktop version. Additionally I have enabled the “automatic display answer” option in the Ankidroid app.
When I look at deck options on the Ankidroid app, the settings reflect the desktop version. However, when I open the deck, auto advance is non-functional. I tried to adjust the controls in the settings to “toggle auto advance”, but none of the controls I set work. Am I missing anything?
What your Deck Options > Auto Advance look like, could you screenshot or post your settings in text here?
Check if your deck has the preset that contain your auto advance setting and click save at the top
Thanks for helping.
Here is a screenshot of my Ankidroid settings.
It reflects the settings on my desktop Anki. I have also saved the settings.
And here showing the auto display is activated.

Try “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Show answer long-press time” > Set value to 0
Hi, sorry for the delay, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the answer-long press time is set to 0 in my settings and the Auto Advance is still not working. I would sincerely appreciate any other suggestions.
Might be one of these issues
