I want to make some adjustments to a deck I downloaded but I need to adjust every single card. I was looking and found nothing that really helps, so I wanted to know if there were some way to make a select all or apply all option when editing decks. I imagine the process would become a lot easier.
You can long press the rows in the card browser then tap the button in the corner, or 3 dots menu → select all.
You can also enable find & replace by going to settings → about and tapping on the logo 6 times then go to settings → developer options and enable it at the bottom. Use at your own risk!
While it does work to select all the cards, it doesn’t let me change the note type of all the cards at once.
It does! If you install the latest alpha release from https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.23.3, you get the option to mass change the note types.
The feature will hopefully be available in the 2.24 update which is getting closer.
