In the study options I switched the answer timer to on, but no timer is visible during the review.
I use Anki 2.0.83
Any idea what I can do?

AnkiMobile doesn’t have a built-in visible timer, and that option is not supposed to show up on iOS. It is possible to emulate one with JavaScript however: https://www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/4m2v0c/js_timer_in_anki_template_help/
