I’ve recently recommended a friend of mine to try Anki, she installed it and… it doesn’t start, it seems to be starting, but just for 10 secs only.
She’s already tried opening it with shift, but it doesn’t help.
Her specs:
CPU - Intel Pentium 5405U
RAM - 8 GB
Win 11 21H2
If I were on linux, I would install QtWeb5, but what about windows?
Please ask them to try the latest beta: https://betas.ankiweb.net/
If the Qt6 version does not help, it may be an issue with non-Latin characters in the login name, and changing to a different user account may help.
