I was in the process of switching to a new laptop and believed I had properly backed up everything. However, when I attempted to redownload Anki, I couldn’t locate my old decks. Additionally, when I tried to use AnkiWeb, there were no decks present in my library. All the decks I had created were my own, and I’m feeling a bit confused and flustered. Is there any way to recover what was on my AnkiWeb account from before?
Syncing is optional, and will not happen unless you enable it in Anki and have automatic syncing enabled. If you hadn’t synced your data to AnkiWeb, I’m afraid you’ll only be able to recover it from your old machine.
