Anki Purchased on Android. Do I need to purchase on iOS as well?

I bought the Ankidroid on my Android phone. I’m wondering if it’s possible to transfer my purchase over to iOS. Or would I also have to buy on iOS.

The version for iOS/iPadOS is the only version sold. It funds the complete Anki platform (Anki for Desktop, AnkiWeb, Server …). AnkiDroid is developed by independent developers and should be available for free. Whatever you paid for on Android, you won’t be able to transfer it to an Apple device.
