Anki on my macbook couldn't open audio files

Today Anki on my macbook couldn’t open audio files. The App on my iPhone and the Website can still open audio files normally. please help, thanks so much

What do you mean by „couldn’t open“? Audio files were not played?

Yes, It can’t play, I used to play normally and this error happened 2 days ago. Is it because I’m using an old version of Anki (2.1.66 (70506aeb)). Thank you for your help

This is not an outdated version. Does other audio play properly on your device?

Now All audio files cannot be played on anki on my macbook. But when I use Anki on my iPhone, they work normally. I tried reinstalling Anki on my Macbook but it didn’t fix it.

Thank you for your help, I have found the cause and resolved the error. The reason is because I setup the speaker on the device incorrectly: I selected MMaudio Device as output, but should have selected Internal Speakers.
