Anki on ARM (Surface Pro 11)

Hello!
I love the anki desktop version on my windows PC. And I love the new Microsoft Surface Pro 11. However, since this new generation of the Surface Pro is ARM based, there are complaints about apps, including Anki, not running on these devices. Without the Anki desktop version, the Surface Pro 11 is not worth it for me.
Questions:
Do you have experience with Anki on ARM based on ARM devices? Is it maybe working and my information is out of date?
Does the Windows emulation work for this programme?
Do you see any way to make this work?

Thank you!!

I’ve seen writing online implying that Anki works under x64 emulation on Windows 11, but it’s not something I’ve been able to test on a machine here.

Hi,

I have a Windows 11 on Arm Galaxy Book S, running on a Snapdragon X processor, so significantly older then the new windows on Arm devices, and I am not sure If i got the new prism Translation layer that they keep talking about.

Anki runs really well, all the add ons work pretty much perfectly, barely any kinks.
I have however noticed that the browser is not snappy at all when going through large amounts of content, so if youre planning on making alot of cards and are a major editor it might not be the best.

My device is however significantly older, and I would personally not hesitate to get the new surface pro based on my experiences with Anki.
