Anki lagging after 25.02 update

After importing around 500 new cards (many of which contain images) I found that my Anki has been lagging when I use my spacebar and numbers to continue on between each card.

It doesn’t lag when I use my mouse to press show answer and the following options, only when I use my spacebar and numbers. This also only happens on Anki, typing numbers or just typing in general works fine.

I’ve tried restarting my laptop, the app, deleting excess cards, even the ‘safe opening’ of Anki option to check if it was an add on issue. I don’t know what is causing this - whether it’s an update issue or something else. If someone could help I would be very grateful!!

I do have the same issue. It works for some time, and then it starts to lag.

What device are you using?

Could you paste the debug info found in Anki > About anki bottom left corner?
