I just installed Anki for the first time yesterday and when I double click on the icon, Anki pops up, but there is literally nothing on it, similar to opening a blank page on a Google. The only thing that’s there is the “files”, “edit”, “tools”, “view”, and “help” buttons on the top left, and I could interact with them somewhat, but if I click on too many buttons, Anki closes itself. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times, restarting and shutting down my laptop, and even checked to make sure I have the right requirements for Anki, which I do. I’m not really a computers person so I don’t have any idea of what could be causing this. Any help is appreciated.
Try everything on the Troubleshooting Checklist – even the things that you don’t think are related. Since it’s a fresh install, my money is on #6 – video drivers.
