Anki cards have dissapeared from my application

Hello,
This morning, I’ve just realized that my anki cards have just dissapeared from my application.
I entered the application in June, the last time, and there were nothing wrong there. I didn’t do anything special that time. This is why I just can’t explain why this happened. Maybe my cards are still there, on the application, somewhere. What can you advice me?
In an attached file, I’ve put a picture of the application as it is now. You can see it is almost totally emplty, as if no card was introduced there ever.The 2 cards that you see, I’ve created this morning, when I saw there was nothing in the anki application. I had several hundreds of thousands of cards there and now there is nothing of them there.

Can you give me an advice?

The first few things to check –

  • Do you have other profiles on this computer? – File [Fichier] > Switch Profile
  • Have you had Anki installed for many years, and did you recently update? It’s possible your real profile is at the old data file location.
  • It also could be a sync issue with AnkiWeb. If it’s been a long time since you synced, and your data has been deleted from AnkiWeb, a sync could blank out your location locally. You can restore the most recent automatic backup (Backups - Anki Manual) and then upload to AnkiWeb to fix the issue.
