Addon tags in AnkiWeb

AnkiWeb has “Tags” field in the addon updating form:

I can’t find any information how these tags are used.
Don’t see them on addon info pages.
Not sure they are considered in the search on the addon sharing page.
Looks like this field is just ignored.

Could you answer:

1. How “Tags” field is used?
2. Is it possible to see the full list of existing tags?
3. Is it possible to search addons by tags?

A search for “foo” will match items with foo in the title, description, or tags. It’s not currently possibly to view the provided tags, or limit a search to tags only.
