Here’s a list of add-ons that change how anki’s interface look.
Read me
- These add-ons might not be compatible with your version of anki
- don’t install all of these add-ons together, because they tweak similar parts it’s likely that they have conflicts with each other and probably won’t work together.
- This is a wiki and you are welcome to add any add-on that changes something about anki’s design and is missing from this list
- if you want to add to this list, use the format that i showed you down below so that the list doesn’t get messy as more add-ons get added.

Beautify Anki (Material design, Deck Background and icon)

What it does:
Changes anki’s interface, giving it a more modern design. it changes the way main screen and deck overview and gives them a material design

- 4 themes and the ability to create user themes.
- 5 alternating backgrounds for the home screen.
- An icon for each deck.
- A background for each deck.
- Enhanced look for the statistics.

Dancing Baloney

What it does:
It allows you to define your images as anki’s main screen and deck overview (and also reviewer) background. the image could be a static image or a gif. it also allows you to define your own custom CSS styleheet for anki.

What it does:
The add-on name says it all. you can define custom background for anki and also change the gear icon.

Button Colours (Good, Again)

What it does:
It’s a simple add-on that just changes color of text inside review answer buttons (again, hard, good, and easy).
this add-on used to change only good and again button text colors, that’s the why (Good, Again) is in the name, if you’re wondering.

Large and Colorful Buttons

What it does:
Same as the previous add-on, it just changes review answer buttons. but instead of changing text color for the buttons, it changes the background color.

- Large buttons sizes (good for touch screens)
- Change button background color
- Change button default color to whatever color you like
- Add a tooltip showing you what button you have pressed (can be disabled in config)
Advanced Review Bottom Bar

What it does:
Changes review bottombar, main screen, and deck overview buttons. can add more detailed card numbers to deck overview screen, etc.
Features:
- Change button designs in review bottombar, deck overview, and main screen
- Animated buttons (on hover)
- Change button colors for each of those button designs
- Add a skip and undo button to review bottombar (good for touchscreens)
- Add an info button to review bottombar that opens detailed stats for the card in review screen
- Change shortcut for skip, undo, and info button
- Change review bottombar button sizes (Each button individually)
- Change button interval colors so that they’ll be the same color as the buttons
- Change information that you wanna show in card info sidebar
