Account expired due to inactivity - Requesting server backup recovery

Hello,

My AnkiWeb account was recently deleted or cleared because I spent more than 6 months without logging in due to personal reasons.

Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the mobile device I used to study with, so I do not possess any local backups of my decks.

I read on the forums that the server sometimes retains a single residual backup for expired accounts. Could you please check if there is any remaining backup available for my account that could be restored?

I’m looking at the AnkiWeb account connected to the email address you used to post here. Yes, your data was removed in May 2026.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing from before that for us to restore. While there is sometimes an old retained backup from before the deletion, there isn’t one in your account. [That’s possibly because you reactivated your account in June, over a month ago. Active accounts start making new backups, which replace old backups after a few weeks.]
