A way to change Anki's default Deck location in UI

So as the title suggests I believe this is a good feature and I am not an expert or anything but I don’t think it’s hard to implement right?
I hope you guys add it and thanks for this amazing software.
Edit: Yeah, sorry I forgot to add why there is not a simple way to do that?

That is been implemented already. Here is the Anki Manual section on how to change to default location.

Well, the solution is simple. You are suggesting to be added as an option in the settings just like AnkiDroid?

I mean yeah it’s not hard, but how hard is it to add this basic functionality to the UI itself :slight_smile:

Anki’s settings are stored in the chosen location, so the location needs to be known before the settings are read.
