2.1.28 scroll lags

Hi,
I am on windows desktop and updated to 2.1.28 last night.
I love the new features, but when I scroll during the review, the scroll lags.
This results in jumpy scrolls.
I tried uninstall, reboot, reinstall, but the problem remains.

Do you have hardware acceleration enabled?

I do have hardware acceleration enabled.
I just tried turning it off and restarting Anki.
The issue persists.

Please try setting the driver to ‘angle’: https://changes.ankiweb.net/#/known-issues

If that doesn’t help, you may have more luck with the -alternate version on Anki’s download site.

You could also try the latest beta, which is using an older toolkit version:

The alternative version of 2.1.28 does NOT have the lag issue.
The 2.1.29 beta2 version (the normal 64 bit) also does NOT have the issue.

Thanks for testing. I’ll be in touch again in approximately a month when the next toolkit update comes out - it would be great if you could give it another try then to see if the issue has been resolved.

Would you mind giving 2.1.34 standard a go and letting me know if the problem comes back?

I was on 2.1.33 and tried 2.1.34 today.
2.1.34 does have the same scroll lag issue that was NOT present in 2.1.33

Thanks for taking the time to test Iris. I suspected this may be the case, and today’s 2.1.35 release uses the older toolkit used in 2.1.33.
