Why won't Anki allow me to upload pictures anymore?

I have tried to copy and paste images from a powerpoint slide I’m reviewing and Anki all of a sudden won’t allow it. An error message pops up saying:

Any clues?

This should be fixed in the next update. But until then, closing and reopening Anki more frequently (e.g. once a day), should hopefully get rid of the error.
