Today is the 30th of March. As you can see, yesterday, my card got an interval of 3 days. But as you can also see, today the card reappeared anyway, with an interval of 1 day. Am I understanding something wrong here?
- Have you recently rescheduled your cards using the FSRS Helper add-on?
- Do you sync with multiple devices? Are you strict about making sure to sync when you open the app, and when you close the app, on every device, every time?
- Do you have any add-ons that impact scheduling (including any automatic features of the Helper add-on), or are triggered when you sync?
These are my FSRS helper settings
I frequently switch between two Laptop Anki instances, and as well the iPhone version.
I sync quite frequently, always when I open and close the app (But I do that manually).
And yes, I have rescheduled my cards recently, but after I noticed that the card appeared early.
Ah, and I just noticed that the Anki on my other laptop is only version 24.11, The iPhone version is up-to-date.
This is the sort of thing I was asking about. It could certainly be the reason why –
Especially if you’re studying the card with one version of FSRS on one device, and then a different version of FSRS on this device reschedules the card after syncing. If all of your devices support FSRS, you can disable this feature.
