What happened to Latex generation in card type?

I use card type a lot to preview if I have type my latex syntax correctly when editing formulas, but in 2.1.33, card types no longer generate latex, therefore I am unable to get a preview.

Works for me.

But note that syntax like [$]{{Field}}[/$] may not work in templates.

Is there a reason for not switching over to MathJax for you?
