Every time a video appears, the program crashes and I need to close it, losing all the progress I’ve made.
Are you on Windows and your Anki version is 2.1.33? If there’s an error message, could you attach it or take a screenshot? What do you mean by “the program crashes”? It’s no longer responding or it’s something else?
Maybe update your graphics card driver.
Maybe install “Video Fix 1” - https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1006287781
Maybe try to update mpv to the latest mpv version. Please see the last part of my reply here - Anki crashes because of MPV
