On an iphone, i move collection by using a chat application (eg whatsapp) from my linux desktop to my iphone through whatsapp.
Once imported, I found no way to delete a deck or even an entire collection

You can delete a deck by swiping across it in the Decks list. Deck List - AnkiMobile Manual
The easiest way to delete an entire collection would be to delete the Profile, and start over with a fresh one. Preferences - AnkiMobile Manual
