Some Mac users have reported seeing delays when starting Anki, along with other laggy behavior. Please try launching Anki and then waiting 10-15 minutes or so, to see if Anki does eventually open for you.
If Anki does eventually open, please let us know how long it took. If it doesn’t, please let us know how long you waited before giving up.
Please also provide us with some information:
- What version of macOS are you running?
- When you ran Anki from the Terminal command line, please copy and paste the messages that were printed to the terminal, and tell us how long it was that you waited after seeing the last message.
