Templates in changing note type

Hi,

Sorry, I don’t understand the function of the table “Templates” at the bottom of the pop-up window “Change note type”. There are two columns “Current” and “New”.

It should have something to do with transferring templates from the old to the new note type.

Could you please give me a link to an explanation of how it works / how to use it?

Thanks to Rumo, I can answer the question:

The function of the table “Templates” at the bottom of the pop-up window “Change note type” is used to transfer the history metadata of a card of the old note type to a card of the new note type.
