Synchronizing with AnkiHub

Recently opened anki on my desktop and it says synchronizing with ankihub and it’s been on this since like forever.

I uninstalled and re-installed the anki app and it’s still syncing.

worst part, i can’t close the sync tab.

It’s there a way to remove the ankiHub add on

Launch anki while holding down the Shift key, this will start it in safe mode with all the addons inactive. Then you can remove the addon.
