I have the same setup (Surface Laptop 7 with 16GB RAM and a Snapdragon X Elite 12-core processor). The startup time is noticeably slow, taking 4-5 seconds, and it also takes a few seconds for input fields to appear. For instance, in any collection, when clicking “Add” to create a new entry of type “Cloze,” there’s a delay before the “Text” and “Back Extra” fields show up, leaving the area grey for a moment.
The general feeling is that “something is not right with the app”.
What version do you have installed? ARM support was just added in the most recent release – 26.05.
I had version 25.09.5 (217701ba).I just updated to version 26.05, and it’s much better now. The launch time is noticeably faster, and the input fields load in about one second.
Just an update: after the installation, the app worked quicker, but now the load times have become quite slow again, which is odd.
