I don’t want to repeat the card on lapsed reviews the same day. FSRS says not to use a step of one day or greater so I just left it blank hoping that it would not show the cards the same day. But it seems like it is. It’s just making its own intervals and they can be under a day (unless I’m going crazy). I was just wondering what happens when you leave the relearning steps field blank?
If you let it empty, FSRS decides the interval for you. Also see this:
