Problem with editing in Anki desktop

Help please? everytime I click on a particular deck, I get the following message - not sure how to fix it and it would give a popup and not be able to edit anything in anki

This is a very outdated software version, please consider updating.

Figured out it was due to syncing between different versions from phone to computer and using a flag that only exists in the newer version. thanks for your help, removing the flags fixed the problem
