Picked the wrong language

How do I change the language for my desktop? I picked the wrong language by accident, and now I can’t change it. I tried to uninstall the app, and nothing worked. It’s in French by the way

You can select a different language in Anki’s Preferences.

On Mac with the Anki app in French, the procedure is:

  1. Menu → Anki → Préferénces… (to open up the Preferences window)
  2. Preferences Window → Apparence → Général → Langue → (select the desired language) → Fermer (to close the Preferences window)
  3. Menu → Anki → Quitter Anki (to quit the Anki app)
  4. (Re-start the Anki app)
